 Motion Picture Mass-Market Audience Analysis

In-House Motion Picture Trend Forecasting, Analysis & Data Indexing

CFI™ specializes in motion picture story structure, componentry correlation, formulation, factorization, and organization.  We are continuously tracking, investigating, extrapolating, analyzing, and valuating all of the film component application in motion pictures that create favorable or unfavorable audience word-of-mouth.  We continuously evaluate previously negative or benign formulations that are becoming positive and are encouraging profitability.  We also track film component applications that are evolving into unfavorable word-of-mouth applications and those that were previously positive or neutral formulations that are becoming detrimental.

We collect this component data from test-screening research, mass-marketing awareness, daily box-office attendance analysis, exit-polling and other proprietary audience tracking research.  By databasing the positive formulations and databasing the negative formulations for identification in future applications, we can create precise in-house motion picture trend forecasting, analysis & data indexing which supports the following CFI™ operations.

1. Weekly Website Motion Picture Profitability & Pre-Release Forecasting

At CFI™ we view every wide-releasing motion picture component correlation, formulation, factorization, and organization presented in the North American marketplace.  We are experts at scientifically and psychologically identifying, verifying, valuating and tabulating every wide-releasing component presentation responsible for the creation of all positive audience word-of-mouth or all negative motion picture audience resonance and word-of-mouth.  We compile this component data weekly, summarizing those tabulated valuations into pre-production or pre-release profitability forecasts, and we post those forecasts on this web site prior to box-office release.  By posting these forecasts before box-office receipts are available, our accuracy is verifiable and our methodology is available for industry scrutiny.

2. Motion Picture Component Application Recognition & Instruction

CFI™ analysts are skilled in component correlation, formulation, factorization, and organization instruction.  They provide the explanations, clarifications, confirmations and psychological verifications of the film component applications and presentations that form to create positive screen audience word-of-mouth, and the film component applications or presentations that can form to create negative screen audience word-of-mouth in North America and overseas.

We present this information through private personal consultation, or in small group guidance.  By sharing a working knowledge of component formulations with our clients, we help them create a more viable product to begin production with.  This allows them to concentrate on enhancing the product, rather than spending time eliminating additional errors.

3.
Hollywood Production Slate Advisories & Investment Analysis

One of the most valuable services we provide is to hedge fund and equity investors through our MPI™ - Motion Picture Performance Indexing.

CFI™ is a company capable of analyzing, identifying, evaluating, and tabulating an entire slate of future studio projects, and each film studio’s future component formulations which responsible for negative word-of-mouth and losses in profitability.  After forecasting the box-office for future studio projects, we advise investors towards or away from studio investment opportunities in the U.S. or in overseas markets.  We excel at correctly forecasting the box-office profitability for both U.S. and overseas markets.

4. Foreign & Independent Motion Picture Negative Pick-Up Advisories

Along with studio slate analysis, we conduct component profitability analysis on foreign and independent films which have already been completed.

CFI™ analysts attend film screenings, festivals and the viewing of films on behalf of buyers or distributors wishing to purchase rights to profitable films.  We protect their assets by analyzing, identifying, evaluating, and tabulating the foreign or independent film components responsible for positive or negative word-of-mouth and profitability.  After forecasting the box-office potential of completed projects prior to acquisition, we advise distributors or investors towards or away from these types of opportunities.

5. American Screenplay Selection & Worldwide Profitability Assurance

In order to provide the assurance that motion pictures will succeed and avoid box-office or television failure, CFI™ has researched and developed a technique for negative screenplay component application evaluation and elimination.  We do this through our proprietary processes of examining, identifying, analyzing, and valuating, the majority of both the obvious and the obscure negative or positive component applications.

These positive or negative components are identified during script selection, identified in the development of the original screenplay, or identified in the pre-production of a previous selected screenplay.  They are compiled and tabulated into summaries and presented in a report advising on the acceptance or rejection of unprofitable projects in the U.S. or overseas markets before there is any further development.  They are also compiled for advising on adjustments or rewrites for correcting negative component applications, which will restore the viability and the profitabilities of the new project.

Using our component formulation analysis, CFI™ can demonstrate to filmmakers or distributors why films that don’t profit well in the North American markets, can soar to large box-office numbers in overseas markets.  Our ability to provide producers with this knowledge helps them accomplish greater profitability around the world.  The benefits of knowing which projects will be successful at the North American box-office as compared to the international box-office are also available for talents or creatives who wish to align themselves with successful productions and connect themselves with profitability.

6. Cinematic Archetype Playability & Sexual Chemistry Assurance

To create playability assurance that exalts motion picture or television projects and to glorify the player's imagery, CFI™ developed a proprietary technology for identifying the correctness of casting in cinematic archetypes and sexual chemistry.  This new technology allows CFI™ the option of examining, identifying, advising, and assisting your staff with avoiding the incorrect archetype casting choices that will cause unprofitable word-of-mouth and impede attendance.  This new technology also provides us with the opportunity for examining, identifying, advising, and assisting your staff in selecting the correct charismatic archetype casting choices that cause profitable word-of-mouth and increase the player's popularity

The incorrect cinematic archetypes can be systematically and graphically identified in player imagery considerations, and confirmed from the audition tapes of players.  We use this new data for advising the removal of inappropriate players from the project, and for advising on the inclusion of charismatic players into the project before filming or taping.  The correct cinematic archetype for the character in the story can be matched to the actor's archetype and graphically identified.

Matching the right actor’s archetype to the archetype of the character, and then matching the actor’s own personal archetype to another actor’s archetype (for sexual chemistry) is principal for increasing the profitability of every motion picture or television production.  CFI™ is the only company in the motion picture industry that can comprehensively qualify cinematic archetypes for profitable casting, and then consistently organize the correct archetype dynamics required for the penetrating sexual chemistry.

The talent’s imagery and professional standing in the business is also enhanced by casting them within the talent’s archetype and the essence of the character's playability.  The management of motion picture and television talents can utilize these dynamic casting technologies to insure their entertainment clients are consistently cast correctly.  This guarantees that a talent’s image will appear successful and be continuously profitable.

7. Motion Picture and Television Production Integrity & Profitability Assurance

CFI™ believes in production conscientiousness and marketing follow-through.  These new aspects of film and television developments should be protected and receive oversight throughout the production and marketing of the project.  For this reason, we offer continuous production component application surveillance.  CFI™ is skilled at silently observing, identifying, valuating, and reporting to producers and directors any developing, unseen or newly created versions of the negative component applications that will create a decrease in project profitability.

These negative components can be unconsciously invented or inserted during film or television production, or invented or inserted during post-production, or invented or inserted during mass-marketing, or invented or inserted during audience pre-screen testing.  CFI™ discreetly reports such occurrences to pre-designated personnel and assists them in discouraging and advising the removal of negative components from the project before screening.

The values gained in development should be nurtured and protected throughout the production or marketing of the project.  For this important reason, we also offer continuous positive production component application enhancement, by quietly observing, analyzing, identifying, and defining to producers and directors, any developing, unseen or newly created versions of the positive component applications that will create an addition to project profitability.

These positive component developments can be created and inserted during film or television production, or created and inserted during film post-production, or created and inserted during mass-marketing, or created and inserted during audience pre-screen testing.  CFI™ discreetly reports such occurrences to the pre-designated personnel and assists them in encouraging and advising the inclusion of positive components into the project before screening.
