Attending to Talent Imagery

In the last fifteen years CFI has evaluated the mass audience perception of thousands of film artists and has effectively organized this data in order to increase the creative productivity and commercial profitability of its industry clients.

Our primary client base includes entertainment executives, producers or directors, talent management, agents and casting coordinators. Secondary clients include independent screen players and other visual personalities with high probabilities of mass media audience exposure or interactivity.

1. We analyze and evaluate the CINEMATIC imagery of motion picture projects in development or production and provide our clients with in-depth understanding of each project’s organic components (including archetypes and sexual chemistry) for use in motion picture imaging. We show our clients how to stop wasting money on inadequate motion picture developments.

2. We investigate and extrapolate the ESSENTIAL and ARCHETYPAL imagery of individual players proposed for film, television or stage casting, entertainment auditions and/or other photographic developments. We show our clients how to avoid wasting time on actors with inadequate star power imagery.

3. We evaluate and correlate the LEADERSHIP imagery of film, television, and theatrical ensembles or talent pools in agencies, management companies, and publicity firms and studios to improve and rejuvenate entertainment careers ... showing them how to focus on which audience satisfying actors to choose.

4. We enhance and invigorate the MEDIA imagery of talents committed to the advancement of public careers ... showing them how to enhance their audience gratifying essences and archetypes.

PREVIOUS SCREEN ESSENCE TECHNOLOGY

Screen essences are those deep psychological and emotional impressions of personality which audiences observe, digest, crave and consistently demand on having delivered to them effectively and efficiently by believable actors and celebrities.

The screen essence impressions that audiences insist and rely on are created within them through the unconscious cognition of a player’s neurological attributes through ingrained facial patterns and muscular expressions as delivered to them through the medium of photography.

These screen essence impressions are indelibly engraved into the audience as they mirror the actor’s facial articulations and emotionally respond to their inner awareness of the actor’s inner personality, essence and archetype.

Remember in the early 1900’s when the ‘talkies’ came out and what happened to those actors whose voices did not match their faces? They were sacked! The voices the audience finally heard on film and the way the actors articulated their personalities, did not match the imagery their audiences had preconceived and expected out of them from watching their faces (and the movements) or the stature of their bodies. That same exact syndrome happens today when actors present a persona averse to what their audience preconceives!

That same exact syndrome happens in today’s movies when the characters (or roles) an actor tries to play are ‘a reach’ or when they’re misdirected unnaturally to their own essence. They do not match their own FACE...the face that their audience has already bet on to deliver a pre-thought character or personality. That’s why so many fabulous actors can make really bad movies. They play opposite or contradictory to what their audience naturally expects from the thought patterns engraved on the actor’s face. Fortunately, we have a new technology to finally end these disastrous mistakes.

Facial muscle articulations tenaciously project the talent’s thinking personality traits towards the audience and this establishes the actor’s character before he even speaks. Through this subtle myographic process, the audience viscerally discerns the player’s intimate apperceptions, attitudes, aptitudes, attributes, aspects, abilities, activities and appearances which they adamantly demand to have given back to them from that giant face on the screen.

Many players and representatives are completely unaware of this articulation process...or they don’t understand how to calculate facial characteristics with audience verified accuracy.

We solve that problem by providing media artists and their representatives with vital imaging data needed to take advantage of screen essence expressions and cinematic archetypes. We promote that data with neoteric imaging tools that precisely identify essence impressions accurately. We verify this data with screen watching audiences and profile the most profitable images for talent to deploy absolute confidence.

Through the use of increasingly realistic special effects, audiences have become very sophisticated and are demanding more believability and honesty in screen imagery than ever before. As movie sets, scenery, costuming, stunt actions, music, lighting and sounds have become perfectly real and life-like, so too must the actor’s presentation be as honest and true to its facial articulation and audience idealized facial imagery as possible. (The days are over when a ‘good’ actor was defined as a "jack of all trades" -- one willing to pretend in anything. The motion picture audience is smarter today than it has ever been. Today’s truth on the big screen requires a unique persona that can act -- not actors trying to impersonate uniqueness.)

With screen image technology, we correct misunderstanding between;

(a) What you and your talent imagine their image should be.

(b) What your audiences truly think, see, feel...and now believe it to be.

Like all entertainment professionals, our clients have always had their own perception of a talent’s image potential, but it was naturally biased by their own vision and limitations, and by the talent’s ability (or inability) to incorporate it. This perception was always biased by the traditional approaches to audience perceptions and old school image management methods that are serendipitous at their best.

In utilizing CFI strategies and tactics, our clients have solved these problems and are realizing tremendous advantages over those left behind in the industry. For now they know what their talent’s audiences are really feeling.

It’s those fickle mass audiences who dictate the way a player is worthy and how much a player is really worth. Unfortunately you aren’t informed about this judgment until after you have completed the project -- when it’s too just late to make a more profitable decision.

We know how to collect audience judgments before you start that next project or take on that next client; before a career gets hijacked or your money walks out the door. Our unique services provide you with specific first-hand guidance for achieving mass audience confirmation of your screen player selections and audience gratification in acting imagery, to eliminate critical time drains and all the money that’s wasted on talent, casting and imaging miscalculations.

Only through exacting awareness of your audience’s deep expectations can you fully organize and capitalize on a talent’s unique profitability and creativity. Through our scientific image technology, marketing analysis, image redesign and correlation of the talent’s perceptual attributes and screen essences to the mass audience visual preconceptions, we increase the eight major factors of successful careers in theater. These eight prized ingredients to ‘talent presence’ or ‘IT’ are:

(1) Confidence -- increased through audience response understanding
(2) Discipline -- increased through character/role realization
(3) Timing -- increased through character/role acceptance
(4) Noticeability -- achieved through graphic charismatic designing
(5) Believability -- acquired through character/archetype casting
(6) Memorability -- gained through essence set implementation
(7) Charisma -- accomplished through Charisgraphic™ coordination
(8) Consistency -- consolidated through the combined packaging with all the above

By providing these eight necessities, our image processing revitalizes casting opportunities for potential talent, new talent, changing talents or established talents in any entertainment endeavor. And we’re not guessing or just estimating this data -- for we have the corner on the biometric sciences behind the art of imaging true charisma. We rock when it comes to chemistry and the stars!

Even though we survey the audience and research consumer demands, this is not some celebrity or ‘Q’ popularity contest; and we don’t pre-screen films or take consumer polls on pre-production story scenarios like other companies do. No other imaging company in town has the knowledge to do what we do for you.

We get to the heart and soul of every talent in relationship to their audience before they audition -- in order to show you how they think, feel and present themselves cinematically, and exactly when and how they’ll be truly successful in their part.

CFI specializes in talent screen essence applications and character/role casting through archetypal personality type -- the actor’s inner qualities and its personal, physiological effect on what any movie-going audience is pre-thinking or psychologically expecting. With our company’s assistance you can focus specifically on the interactive audience psychology and the intimate, charismatic image communication so important within the industry.

We’ve always kept our client’s names, actor profiles and even our offices concealed to avoid public exposure. This secrecy preserves the ‘naturally magic’ talent ideal so audiences don’t become disillusioned. And our contractualized silence protects you and your talent’s privacy so you aren’t distracted or interfered with. We’re actually happy if you haven’t heard of us -- it just means we’re doing a good job.

We utilize several proprietary computer softwares with the new CorePersona™ biometric facial analysis and several unique market survey technologies designed specifically for cinematic talent. Our digitized, facial typography software and archetypal personality instruments can calculate cinematic type and verify imaging techniques, while our field and market research can evaluate and measure the mass audience appeal and perception of their consummate emotional desire for each artist’s unique set of essences and their screen image profile.

It’s not up to you to tell your audience what to think.
They get to decide all by themselves while they watch you express yourself inside the medium.

All your fancy words and lyrics really mean nothing. Basically, that’s just going in one ear and out the other because what they are really interested in is watching your face. Your face is telling them exactly what your essences really are.

Of course, if we all wore masks that didn’t articulate -- then this would never be a concern. Nevertheless, we don’t and it is and every failure in the imaging has been because of it!

And at any given moment,
a minimum of two-thirds of your entire audience -- already have a concrete opinion and are in total agreement as to exactly who and what your essence are...

Moreover, the other one-third of those still watching you, think (or feel) they know what it is, but just can’t define it yet. The essences they also chose are in semantical agreement with over one-third of the audience and more.

If you know which characterized essences they have determined you to possess...you will succeed ever more greatly in their eyes, just as long as you play within them.

But if you don’t’ play within the essences they believe you to be, you will be discarded -- for you have insulted their intelligent conclusiveness. You will never get promoted among their friends. They won’t be able say anything truthful about you...and your career will be neutralized, if not literally wasted.

This thing called MEMORABILITY is achieved through ESSENCE.

This thing called BELIEVABILITY, is achieved through ARCHETYPE.

These are benefits of CFI Component Formulation and Star Power Dynamics™. These are the keys that talent representatives and producers use to succeed at guiding and directing clients while accelerating their own careers as well. These are the keys to expediting the efforts and endeavors of talents with essences who must excel.
